Neander takes on direct distribution

Neander Shark, manufacturer of the Dtorque 111 turbo-diesel outboard, has taken on direct distribution of the engine in Germany, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland. The territory was previously managed by Friedrich Marx GmbH & Co KG, which has waived its distribution rights in view of Neander’s growth plans.

Neander Motors appoints global sales director

German diesel outboard manufacturer Neander Motors has named Joel Reid as its global sales director. The appointment comes not long after Neander decided to adopt a direct sales approach for its Dtorque 111 turbo diesel outboard.

Yanmar transfers direct sales rights of Dtorque engine to Neander

Following three and a half years as exclusive global distributor for the Dtorque 111 turbo diesel outboard, Yanmar Marine International (YMI) has transferred the direct sales rights of the engine back to its developer and manufacturer, Neander Shark GmbH (Neander).

Yanmar Opens Middle East Branch in Dubai

Japanese engine manufacturer Yanmar said it will soon open a new parts warehouse at its Middle East Branch, located in the United Arab Emirates, near Dubai Airport. The Middle East Branch began operation in January of 2019 in the Dubai Airport Free Zone providing sales, service support and training to dealers in Yanmar’s middle east territory. The new site, which serves both Yanmar’s marine pleasure and marine commercial engines business in the Middle East region, is operated by Yanmar subsidiary and Asia regional headquarters, Yanmar Asia (Singapore) Co., Ltd.
